Explore My New Collection of Abstract Collages

My collage practice explores the ways meaning emerges through attention, layering, and discovery. Working with painted papers, found materials, handwritten fragments, text, and mark-making, I create compositions that invite reflection on growth, connection, resilience, and transformation.

Collage appeals to me because it mirrors the way we experience life. We are shaped by accumulated layers of memory, relationships, experiences, and stories. Some remain visible while others recede beneath the surface, yet each contributes to who we become. Through the process of assembling disparate elements into a cohesive whole, I explore how meaning is revealed through both intention and intuition.

Recurring motifs—including circles, botanical forms, handwritten text, and repeated patterns—have become part of an evolving visual vocabulary. These elements serve as symbols of connection, emergence, continuity, and change. Whether inspired by wildflowers, personal reflection, human relationships, or life transitions, my work is grounded in a curiosity about what becomes possible when we pause long enough to truly see.

Although each series explores a different aspect of the human experience, they are connected by a common thread: the belief that transformation often begins with attention. A wildflower noticed at the edge of a path, a moment of genuine recognition, a quality we choose to cultivate, or the courage to embrace a new beginning—these seemingly small moments can become catalysts for growth.

As an artist, I am less interested in arriving at fixed answers than in creating spaces for reflection and discovery. Through collage, I invite viewers to slow down, look closely, and consider the unexpected connections that emerge when fragments are brought together into something new.
